CUHK Medical Centre Attains ACHSI Accreditation for the First Time
CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC) has successfully attained the accreditation from The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) on 8 July 2024.
The recognition was granted after a comprehensive on-site assessment conducted by the survey team from 17 to 21 June, where all 856 applicable elements were met with no recommendations, in accordance with the 38 criteria in the 7th edition of the Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP7).
Dr. Hong FUNG, Chief Executive Officer of CUHK Medical Centre, said, “For CUHKMC that has operated for only 33 months since official opening, this result is undoubtedly encouraging for all of us. The accreditation is a testimony to the concerted effort and dedication of the entire team. CUHKMC will continue to perfect its services and to provide patients with quality and safe medical care.”
