2024-25 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Services

People aged 18 or above can receive seasonal influenza vaccine services at the Vaccination Centre on the 8th floor of CUHK Medical Centre. 

Children (Persons of age between 6 months and less than 18 years) are required to attend a consultation session conducted by a Specialist in Paediatrics at the Paediatric Clinic (1/F, CUHK Medical Centre) prior to receiving the seasonal influenza vaccine at CUHK Medical Centre.

The fee for the quadrivalent influenza vaccine is $260. The subsidy amount of government Vaccination Subsidy Scheme is $260. Eligible persons aged 50 or above can participate.Participants must present their Hong Kong identity card and the relevant identity documents (if applicable) during their visit.

  • Online appointments are limited to individuals aged 18 and above who do not require a doctor's consultation.
    (Booking is served on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the service availability of CUHK Medical Centre)

  • For persons under 18 years old and pregnant women, our hospital recommends meeting with a specialist before vaccination.
  • Persons aged 18 and above who need to make an appointment for medical consultation please call 3946 6888.

 

Eligible Groups and Required Document of Identity:

The Government continues to provide subsidised seasonal influenza vaccination for the following eligible groups (Hong Kong residents).

Persons of Age 50 Years or AboveChildren (Persons of age between 6 months and less than 18 years)Persons With Intellectual Disability (PID)

Hong Kong residents and age of 50 years or above this year

 

Hong Kong residents who meet either of the following conditions on the day of vaccination:

  • Children and adolescents of age between 6 months and less than 18 years,

    OR
  • Persons of age 18 years or above but studying at a secondary school in Hong Kong

    (Please bring along the student card or handbook and submit a photocopy to the doctor)

Hong Kong residents who hold:

  • The Registration Card for People with Disabilities indicating intellectual disability or mental handicap;

    OR
  • A certificate certifying the person is a PID or eligible for the VSS 2023/24 issued by a registered doctor or the person in-charge from the designated institutions serving the PID

    (Please submit a photocopy of the above document to the doctor)
Pregnant WomenRecipients of Disability AllowanceRecipients of Standard Rate of “100% Disabled” or
“Requiring Constant Attendance” Under CSSA

Hong Kong residents

(Please bring along a medical certificate confirming her pregnancy and submit a photocopy to the hospital / clinic)

Hong Kong residents who hold an approval letter of successful application for Disability Allowance issued by the Social Welfare Department (Vaccination date should fall within the period of receiving Disability Allowance).

Hong Kong residents of age 18 to under 50 years who are recipients of standard rate of "100% disabled" or "requiring constant attendance" under the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme and hold:

  • A "Certificate of CSSA Recipients (for Medical Waivers)" issued before 15 December 2018, 

    OR
  • The new Annex page of "Notification of Successful Application"/ "Notification of Revision of Assistance"

    (Please submit a photocopy of the above document to the hospital / clinic and sign a self-declaration form provided by the hospital / clinic enrolled in the VSS before vaccination)

If you are recommended to receive vaccination but are not in the above-mentioned eligible groups, you may consult your primary care doctor and consider vaccination at your own expense for personal protection.
