Statement: Scammers impersonating doctor of CUHK Medical Centre

We, CUHK Medical Centre (CUHKMC), were recently notified by a patient of a deceptive activity, where a scammer impersonated a doctor of CUHKMC promoting “weight loss products” via instant messaging application. CUHKMC hereby reminds the public that our doctors will never market commercial products to patients, and that members of the public should always obtain the latest information of CUHKMC via our official website (https://www.cuhkmc.hk/) or call our Call Centre (Tel: 3946 6888).
